Description :  (Sunset Zone A2,A3,1-6,14-17,32-45, USDA Zone 2). Slow growing conifer. The most common dwarf Norway Spruce. A miniature sport of 'Nidiformis' with short, stiff branchlets and tiny needles. Compact plant grows as a round globe with dark green 1/2" long needles. Grows 1" per year.

Basic Care :  Grows best in full sun. Overhead water to discourage spider mites.

Feeding :  Fertilize just before and during growing season until autumn. Many brands of fertilizer are available and it is beneficial to use a variety of these. Follow all package instructions.

Repotting :  Repotting is best done in early Spring and usually after two to three years of being in the same pot. Correct root pruning is very important and cannot be addressed in a line or two. Please refer to your favorite bonsai book or local bonsai experts. Place newly planted plant in a shaded area for approximately 3-4 weeks. After one month start feeding.
